Similar to manufacturing ASME pressure vessels, manufacturing CSEI vessels that operate safely in end-use applications is a big responsibility. When we produce cast D1-rated Ductile Iron Chinese Special Equipment Inspection certified pressure vessels in De Pere, WI, structural integrity throughout the casting is paramount. This requires consistent processes and adhering to the strict procedural requirements. Like the production of ASME pressure vessels, producing ductile iron pressure vessels for use in China is a unique capability and one that is only shared with a few iron foundries in North America.

As of October 1, 1997, pressure vessels and related equipment became regulated in China for both quality and safety. This new certification established for importing vessels into China employs many aspects of the ASME Code as well as ISO policies and procedures. We maintain this certification so parts produced with the procedural requirements can be used as components in customer assemblies that are shipped for use in China.
