When Calco began more than a century ago, our facilities were located on Broadway Avenue in downtown De Pere, Wisconsin. Then, in 1980, our company acquired the Rothe Foundry and the adjoining property, and in 1989 we built a second building – providing enough space for a complete move to our 24 acres in the East De Pere Industrial Park.

The foundry facility includes 50,000 square feet located just 100 yards north of the pattern, machine and paint shops, which occupy 40,000 square feet. We realized many years ago the power of locating pattern, casting, and machining in close proximity. Logistically, we have a decided advantage over competitors who attempt to bundle services like castings and machining. Proximity makes the coordination of integrated services routine for our staff.
